MSP case study Southeast Networks logo
Fivenines was monitoring 100+ of our servers in 40 minutes. During our last major outage, it was the only platform that actually pointed us to the root cause. We're now at 300+ servers monitored, and we use Fivenines as part of our sales pitch with new clients.

Built for MSPs who...

If three or more of these lines feel familiar, this page is for you.

  • Run client fleets of 50 to 1000+ Linux servers

Ubuntu, Debian, Raspbian, Rocky, AlmaLinux, Arch, CentOS. You want 60-second metrics by default without standing up Prometheus and Grafana for every client.

  • Client fleet organization

Group servers, monitors and network devices by client so every fleet, alert stream and status page stays easy to find.

  • Server and network in one platform

Monitor Linux servers through the open-source agent, then add switches, routers and firewalls through SNMP.

  • White-label status pages

Publish branded status pages on your MSP's domain with real-time uptime, incident history and scheduled maintenance.

  • Route alerts by client and severity

Use workflows to send level-1 noise to Slack, after-hours incidents to Telegram, and dispatch events through webhooks.

  • Track uptime, SSL and cron jobs together

Keep websites, certificates, scheduled jobs and Linux metrics in one place instead of stitching together overlapping tools.

  • Per-client SLA reporting

Export uptime and incident data per client, per service and per period for QBR decks, PSA invoicing or compliance reports.

  • Package vulnerability scanning

Find vulnerable Linux packages across client servers and prioritize CVEs before the next patch window.

Fivenines vs Auvik, LogicMonitor and NinjaOne RMM

Most MSPs run two or three monitoring tools at once: an RMM for endpoints, a network monitoring tool for switches and routers, and an uptime checker for client-facing websites. Fivenines collapses that stack into a single platform, at a fraction of the cost.

How MSPs onboard a new client in under 30 minutes

Forget multi-week deployments. Most MSPs onboard a new client end-to-end before lunch.

1

Minute 0 to 5

Install the open-source agent on every Linux server

One command via SSH, Ansible or your config management of choice. Metrics start flowing in 60 seconds. No reboot. No package conflicts. No firewall rules to argue about.

2

Minute 5 to 15

Add network devices via SNMP

Add the client's switches, routers, firewalls and access points with their SNMP settings. Metrics are collected and aggregated once the devices are configured.

Been with the service from ground...

Been with the service from ground floor; the dev is really nice and insanely effective - more than once I've been reporting bugs and assisting with testing while things were being fixed LIVE! It's obvious that he has aspirations and he's been delivering over expectations constantly. The actual product works perfectly along the other monitoring solutions I'm using (currently Hetrixtools and Komari) and for those who are more wary of unknown code running on their prods the code is available via Git. Nothing but recommendations from me!

Frequently asked questions from MSPs

Compare & alternatives

How is Fivenines different from Auvik or LogicMonitor? +
Auvik is excellent at network monitoring but doesn't cover Linux server metrics, cron jobs or website uptime. LogicMonitor covers everything but is priced for enterprise and requires a sales call before you can see pricing. Fivenines combines server metrics, SNMP network monitoring, uptime checks and cron job monitoring in one platform, with an open-source agent and transparent self-serve pricing starting at €27 per month.
Can I run Fivenines alongside my existing RMM? +
Yes, most MSPs do. RMMs like NinjaOne, ConnectWise Automate and Kaseya are strong on endpoint management, patching and remote access. Fivenines complements them by covering infrastructure depth: Linux server metrics, SNMP network devices, uptime and SLA reporting. RMMs alert you that a server exists. Fivenines tells you why it's slow.

MSP workflows

Can I organize monitors by client? +
Yes. Group servers, network devices and monitors by client so each fleet, alert stream and status page stays easy to find from one central console.
Can I white-label status pages with my MSP's brand? +
Yes, starting on the Pro plan. Publish status pages on a custom domain (e.g., status.your-msp.com), apply your logo and brand colors, and embed live status badges in client portals. You can make pages public for the open internet or private with passcode access.
Does Fivenines integrate with ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA or SuperOps? +
Today, Fivenines integrates with PSA and ticketing tools via webhooks, the public REST API, Zapier and direct alerting to Slack/Teams channels watched by your dispatch process. Native integrations for ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA and SuperOps are on the roadmap. If a specific integration is a deal-breaker, reach out to the founder. Early MSP feedback is prioritized.
Can I export billing data per client? +
Yes. Pull per-client monitor counts, alert volumes, retention usage and uptime data via the public REST API or as CSV exports. Plug the output into your PSA, invoicing software or BI tool. Some MSPs use this to bill monitoring as a separate managed service line at a markup.
How fast can I onboard a new client? +
Most MSPs go from zero to first monitored server in 2 minutes per host using the one-line agent install. A full client environment with servers, network devices, alert routing and a white-label status page typically takes 15 to 30 minutes. Compare that to multi-day onboarding for traditional enterprise monitoring stacks.

Trust & compliance

Is the Fivenines agent really open-source? +
Yes. The Linux agent is open-source and lives at github.com/Five-Nines-io/fivenines_agent. Audit the code, contribute improvements, fork it if you want to customize it. No vendor-controlled black box running with root on your client's servers.
What about compliance: GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001? +
Fivenines is hosted in the EU and built with GDPR-native data handling. SOC 2 and ISO 27001 status are evolving. Reach out to the founder for the current compliance posture and to discuss your specific requirements.
What happens at the end of the 14-day trial? +
Your trial automatically downgrades to a read-only state. No surprise charges, no credit card on file. You can choose a paid plan at any point during the trial or after to keep monitoring active. Existing data is retained for 30 days after trial expiration to give you time to decide.
